OK, that`s a bit of an exaggeration, but legal ones are rare. Ruger adds a new AR-556 with MonsterMan handle to this list. On March 17, 2017, Ruger announced the Ruger AR-556. This version of their semi-automatic rifle gun meets standards that make it legal for sale in Colorado and Maryland, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Puerto Rico. The new weapon lacks some of the features of the AR-15 that don`t make it legal for sale in some states. First of all, it has a store with a reduced capacity of 10 towers. It also has a fixed length of the traction shaft and a barrel without threads.
