If you need legal assistance in a state other than Western Australia, please visit Community Legal Centres Australia. CLCs Australia does not provide direct legal assistance to the public; She represents and supports more than 170 legal centres across Australia. Below are organizations in your area that may be able to provide legal assistance. Some are generalist centres that help people with issues such as credit and debt, family law, domestic violence, compensation for victims of crime, and neighbourhood disputes, while others specialise in specific areas of law such as tenancy law, consumers, employment, human rights, elder abuse, environmental and immigration law. For general information on volunteering at CLCs (and lists of current CLC employment and volunteer opportunities), please visit Social Justice Opportunities. The CLSP assists CLCs in providing legal aid and related activities to improve access to justice in Victoria. To do this, the CLSP administers funds (grants) to CLCs on behalf of the Commonwealth and state governments, as well as grants funded by Victoria Legal Aid (VLA). We are based in Albury-Wodonga and provide legal services at various locations in 17 local government areas. The best place to find information about CLCs in your state is the website of the best CLC organization in your state (see below). For those in ACT and NT where the umbrella organisation does not maintain a website, you can find a list of all CLCs in Australia (with a postcode search function) on the Community Legal Centres Australia website. Through the Community Legal Services Program (CHSP), we provide and manage funding to 43 centres, Djirra, Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service and the Federation of Community Legal Centresexternal link.

In 2020-2021, we contributed approximately $57 million to these centres. This funding includes core funding and earmarked funding related to the provision of certain services. -31.95710110 115.86479170 1 /Juvenile Legal Service 1.
